Hair colourants can cause an allergic reaction which in certain cases may be severe. Therefore, to help reduce the risk of an allergic reaction, it is essential to follow the precautions below:

Rashes
You have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp.
Reactions
You have ever experienced any reaction after colouring your hair.
Past Reactions
You have experienced a reaction to a temporary black henna tattoo in the past.
Hair Colour Allergies
Reactions to hair colourants can occur for a very small number of people, in the same way that some individuals can react to a variety of foods and natural substances.
Allergic reactions to hair colourants are extremely rare. Of those individuals who have the potential to react to a hair colourant, potential reactions can be detected by carrying out the Allergy Alert Test, as directed, 48 hours before you wish to use the product. The Allergy Alert Test must be completed before each colour application, even if you have previously used the same hair colourant or the colourant of any other brand.
If at any point you see any redness or feel any discomfort, please wash the test area immediately and discontinue use. Monitor the area for 48 hours. If during this period, you continue to experience irritation, swelling, rash or discomfort, please consult with a doctor.
